I just finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince last night. Surprised is not really the word I'd use to describe the death at the end. This person was at the top of my list, at least as I got further and further into it. No, the feeling here is denial. That death scene was extremely fishy and there is definitely more going on. Two options: the killer was ordered by the victim to kill him or the death was staged by the two of them. The two had an argument earlier about something so I'm thinking the killer didn't want to do it.
Lady Vader commented on Harry's choice of women. Could be much worse I think.
No, what I really had a problem with, and maybe I need to re-read this but, I'm confused about the identity of the Half-Blood Prince. In one part of the book it says that this person's mother is a half-blood then later it says she was a full-blooded witch who married a Muggle. Which is it? Another thing, Harry is there when "The Prince" yells out "I'm the Half-Blood Prince!" yet seems shocked when Herminone reveals the name. Can the hero of your story be a dense moron?
