The Mundane and the Serious

Yesterday and today, since the agency has found nothing for me so far this week, I've been helping my mother. Yesterday, I helped her with an e-mail project and today I did some research for her.

As I predicted, UHart lost pretty badly but they did hang in there for about three-fourths of the game so that was kind of impressive. I think Connecticut, the state as well as the team, will have it's revenge against the Georgia team in the next round as Mel Thomas seems to be back in typical form to give one reason.

Once again, and this is when the comments seriously disappear, I need a little advice. I've finally figured out what it is about the woman I've been conversing with that intrigues me. Like Heather and Nicki before her, this person shares their high level of compassion/empathy. I'm also realizing that, unlike them and more like my mother, she cares way too much what others think of her and doesn't seem to be able to let go easily.

Even though this bothers me, I'm reluctant to let this, whatever we have going, drop. This person has stuck around after hearing "confession" after "confession" from me; any one of which would have scared many women off and, well, has. Does the fact she shares my mother's most irritating trait mean I should let her go?

I don't think that is a bad trait in a person, and I think it can be quite normal. I am like that, although much less than I used to be. Confidence plays a huge part :) She sounds nice, seems to accept you for you, and I need a girl cousin! Kidding. Don't let her go. She just needs to get more comfortable in her skin(or I could be completely off!). Your "reluctance" to let her go should answer your own question! :)

~your cousin, again.

I'd say hang out with her and a bunch of other ppl and do fun things. You'll get a better sense of her personality when you're doing stuff and not making ginormous confessions about yourself. Or herself. (I mean, if she likes you, how else can she show it other than being supportive and overly sensitive?)

Also, if all you've done is talk about depressing stuff together, you should really not attempt to make this a relationship. She'll get too attached and you'll feel guilty that all she's done is be there for you. woot 2 cents.

Random Comments Into My Life

We did yardwork yesterday. I picked up a lot of sticks. Home Depot sucks on a Friday morning. My father and I went to get a new gascan for the mower and there was only one employee around to help us...and she didn't know anything about how these new fangled gas cans work... So due to a bank error when I reset my bank account so I could accurately keep track again, I had like a hundred dollars less in my account than I thought so my last bill payment put me in the hole. This would've been all right and easily fixed if I had been paid for the last week of my mailroom job but, oddly, I still have not been even though it's been weeks. I don't know if I can accurately convey how infuriated this makes me. If it doesn't happen soon, heads will roll! Also yesterday I re-watched the Enterprise episode "Regeneration"; this time with audio commentary from the writers. They made some valid points I hadn't considered on the issue of if this episode screws with...

Remind Me

Remind me to complain how boring and unexciting my life more often because as soon as I did, it got really exciting really fast. Last night, we had four visitors arrive from Korea. They like ziti and garlic bread. Go figure. They will be staying until Sunday night. I told my mother (AKA Hyacinth Bucket) she was making way too much salad but did she listen? No. Now we have this huge-ass bowl of salad in the fridge...What's really irritating is first the fork we use to serve catfood went missing now Susie's dish is missing as well... Tomorrow, I have a physical to prepare for my surgery then I go to my orthopedist's to fill out consent forms. Woo Hoo! I hope I can find time for a haircut as well because... Friday, I have a job interview at a library in Massachusetts! It's a reference job but I also will be conducting a book group. I've never done that but it sounds really fun. Sure, I'll be stuck reading many book that sucks but isn't that what book group i...

Your soul is bound to the Second Totem, Luna: The Wolf . Luna appears as a pair of coral colored wolves. She embodies empathy, nurturing, insight, and warmth . She is associated with the color coral, the season of spring, and the element of wind. Her downfall is pathos. You are most compatible with Doves and Ravens. Which Animal Spirit Totem Are You? brought to you by Quizilla I think I only clicked one of those qualities; maybe more. Odd but at least I'm not a Cockroach...
