With a gift certificate I received for Borders, I bought The Very Best of Sheryl Crow which is missing a few really good tunes if they choose to call it that but over all is a very good album.
"Picture" is on it so, yay, don't have to buy Kid Rock's album but I'm disappointed that the word he says at the beginning that's edited out on the radio is "cocaine." Somehow I pictured, no pun intended, that he was referring to a part of the female anatomy. I never understand why drug use is edited out of songs nowadays. They rarely, including this instance here, glorify it. (Gangsta rap excluded) I mean he's clearly not saying that doing cocaine is a good thing. By the same token, are the censors saying that going on a "liquid diet" of whiskey is acceptable for people to hear or is just the fact cocaine just happens to be illegal? I don't get it.
