It was worth the wait I think although there were some problems. They didn't have their priorities straight I think. The a-plot with O'Neill rescuing Daniel in Central America should have been the b-plot while the mission to Tartaras should have held more importance since it will for the rest of the season if not the series.
Specific thoughts on the A-plot are that it was kind of MacGuyver-like. O'Neill should have stopped the zombie using only a rubber band, a paper clip and a drinking straw. I loved Burke though and would be very happy if his new assignment was to the Atlantis team but probably won't be.
With the B-plot, aside from wanting more of it, it might have been nice to discover who that Go'auld queen was. I loved the end where they used to the rings to transport the soldier into space. That rocked.
